What We Believe

Our Believe

United Methodist believes in the Bible God’s Word that all things can wither & fades; but the word of our God will stand forever” Isaiah 40:8 “

United Methodist believe and know that the Bible is ageless because of the great stories and events through which God spoke and still speaks to us by His Son through the writings of the prophets, and the apostles.{ Hebrew 1:1-2 }

United Methodist know that the Bible is ageless because through its great events that God reveled the purpose for which God made us and became flesh as He dwelt among us. {John 1:14}

Whereas United Methodist also believes that:

  • God is the ultimate Spirit-because He is the beginning and the end, “Alpha and Omega” {Revelation1:8.}
  • United Methodists believes in the unseen God who sustains us; “God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and truth” {John4:24}.
  • United Methodist believes that God is the ultimate Person in that God dies things, God creates, sustains, provides as God acts daily on our lives through His Son Jesus Christ. As Jesus said, “My Father is still working, and l also am working” {John 5:17}
  • United Methodist believes in supreme power but also in love. That God’s power is unfailing expression of love. Zechariah saw it when he spoke for God saying, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts” {Zechariah 4:6}
  • United Methodist believes in the Trinity- God is three in- one. {John 14:16}

  • to them that are of the household of faith or groaning so to be; employing them preferably to others; buying one of another, helping each other in business, and so much the more because the world will love its own and them only. Mtt7:12, Acts 5:1-
